This makes it easier to review how an experience should work, discuss ideas with the team, and spot gaps before work begins. Use Elle (the AI assistant) when you want to create a whiteboard from record details quickly. And use the text editor when you want to start with a blank whiteboard or embed one that already exists.

To create a whiteboard from a record:
Open the record you want to use as context.
Click the Elle (AI assistant) icon.
Describe the whiteboard you want to create. (For example, ask Elle to create a user flow based on the record details.)
Review the embedded whiteboard and refine it as needed.
After Elle creates the whiteboard, you can continue shaping the work visually.

Convert whiteboard objects into records to turn concepts into structured work.
Create smart zones to bulk edit and organize records by status, release, or other attributes.
This helps you move from written context to a visual plan without rebuilding the same work by hand.
Embed a whiteboard from the text editor
You can also add a whiteboard manually from the text editor. Add a whiteboard within the description field of most records or within a note. This is useful when you want to start from a blank canvas or reuse an existing whiteboard.
To add a whiteboard from the text editor:
While editing a record description or note, click + in the text editor toolbar and select Whiteboard.
Select New whiteboard or Existing whiteboard.
If you select Existing whiteboard, search for the whiteboard you want to add and select it.
The whiteboard will appear below your cursor.
Edit or remove an embedded whiteboard
Click the pencil icon to edit the whiteboard.
When you are finished, click the X to leave the whiteboard and return to the record description or note.
To remove an embedded whiteboard, click the trash can icon and confirm that you want to delete it.
