Each customer interview brings new insights. But how do you leverage all of the quotes, learnings, and other useful details you are capturing? The highlights list report is a streamlined view of key insights you have highlighted across interviews. Use it to quickly spot patterns and trends across customer interviews and to validate product decisions.Click any of the following links to skip ahead:
Overview
The highlights list report brings together key insights from your interviews and studies in one place. It includes quotes, learnings, AI summaries, tags, and response highlights, so you can review feedback at a broader level and spot patterns across customer research.
Use filters to narrow the report by highlight type, tag, study, interview, and date. If you want to focus on answers to interview questions, filter by Responses to review response highlights only.
For response highlights, the report shows the interview question as the highlight name and the selected response text as the highlight content. This makes it easier to compare how participants answered the same question across a study.
Access the highlights list report
To view all highlights in a single study, open the study and navigate to Insights -> Highlights. Navigate to Studies -> Highlights to view all highlights across all interviews and studies in your workspace.
Export a highlights list report
Once you have filtered a highlights list to narrow in on the specific customer insights you want to see, you can save the list so you can revisit it or share it with stakeholders
Click the Export icon in the upper right.

Use the toggle to Show participant names or Hide participant names according to your privacy preferences.
Hidden participant names are replaced with participant numbers.
Select PNG image or PDF file to save the static report to your computer.
Bulk actions
To make bulk changes, select the highlights you want to update. Then update them in bulk using the following options:
Click Bulk edit # highlights to add tags, remove tags, or delete the selected highlights.
Click Link to record to link the selected highlights to a record in your Aha! Roadmaps or Aha! Ideas account.
