Access to information is essential to efficient workflows and collaboration. If you have product documentation spread across disparate web-based tools, you and your teammates might struggle to find what you need, when you need it — creating unnecessary bottlenecks and slowing down progress. Use the Aha! Knowledge importer extension for Google Chrome to quickly bring all of your documentation into your workspace so everyone can access the information they need, fast.

Add the extension
To import documents, you will need to use Google Chrome as your web browser to install and use the free Aha! Knowledge importer extension. Complete the following steps on your Google Chrome browser:
Starting from your Aha! account, navigate to Settings ⚙️ -> Workspaces -> Imports -> Import documents. You will need workspace owner permissions to access workspace settings.
Click Document360 or Other to navigate to the Aha! Knowledge importer listing in the Chrome Web Store.
Click Add to Chrome, and then click Add extension in the pop-up confirmation window.
Once the browser extension installs, access it by clicking the puzzle piece icon in the upper-right corner of your browser window and clicking Aha! Knowledge importer. Click the pin icon to keep the extension pinned on your browser for quick access.
Only workspace owners can navigate to their workspace settings and access the Import documents screen, which links them to the install link for the importer. Consider providing the importer link to contributors in your workspace so they can install the extension as well.
Import documents
Workspace contributors can import documents into a workspace via the Aha! Knowledge importer extension.
Navigate to the website that contains documents you want to import. If the website requires authentication for access, log in as you normally would.
Open the Aha! Knowledge importer extension in your Google Chrome browser. Then, click Connect.
Authenticate to your Aha! account by entering your credentials (if you are already logged into your Aha! account, you might not need to do this).
Click Authorize to allow the extension to access your Aha! account.
Select a Workspace from the dropdown at the bottom of the importer window to choose a destination for imported documents. Only workspaces to which you have owner access will populate here.
Click Scan to search the website for pages that are available to import. A list of documents will populate, and all documents will be selected by default. Deselect any pages that you do not want to import into your workspace as documents.
Once you select all the pages you want to import, click Import selected pages.
Find imported documents in your workspace
After importing documents, you will see a View import in Aha! link. This will take you to a folder in your workspace that is labeled with the page title of the website you imported them from. From here, you can drag and drop documents to reorganize them, rename them, edit them, add them to knowledge bases, and more.
