How it works
After you configure it, use the integration to create records, comment on them, or subscribe to Aha! record update notifications. There are two ways to send information to your Aha! account from Slack. Hover over an existing message in Slack and use the Add record or Add comment shortcuts in the More actions menu. Choose your workspace and fill in any additional details you need.
You can also use slash commands to take action. The slash commands available to you depend on your Aha! user permissions:

When you create a record through the integration, Slack will ask you to choose the workspace where you want to create the record, and then show you the record's create layout — including custom fields — so you can capture the same critical information you would if a user had created the record directly in your Aha! workspace.
When you comment on a record through the integration, Slack will ask you to choose the record type and the record itself, then have you add your comment. The text editor for adding comments supports Markdown shortcuts, but not attachments.
Subscribe to Aha! record updates
Get notified about specific Aha! records directly in Slack. You can tailor automatic updates so everyone stays in the know about critical work without creating unnecessary noise. To receive focused Aha! record updates in your Slack channel:
In Slack:
Invite the Aha! bot (which delivers updates from Aha! to Slack just like a human channel member) into this channel using the /invite aha command.
Type /aha subscribe to open the Subscribe to record updates modal.
Choose which record type you want to subscribe to from the dropdown menu.
Find your record under Select record to subscribe to updates.
Select the Notification types you would like to receive. This field includes popular options such as Comment added, Deleted, and Status updated, but you can specify other types of notifications you want to receive.
Click Subscribe.
Now, everyone in your Slack channel will automatically receive a message whenever someone modifies an Aha! record with an update that matches your notification criteria.
You can edit your subscription or unsubscribe from record updates at any time by clicking the More options menu in the upper-right corner of your Aha! record notification.
Configuration
Navigate to Settings ⚙️ -> Account and click on the Integrations+ button and select the Slack [to Aha!] integration. You will need to be an administrator to do this.
Within the integration configuration, simply click the Add to Slack button. This will take you to Slack where you can chose which Slack Team you want to connect to.
You will be redirected back to Aha! Roadmaps where you can click the Enable check box to finalize the setup and turn the integration on.
Once enabled, users will be asked to authenticate to their Aha! Roadmaps account when they use the integration for the first time. Afterwards, they will be able to begin creating and commenting on records. Afterward, they will be able to create and comment on records and can subscribe to notifications about specific Aha! records directly in Slack.
