Aha! view update frequency in presentations

Aha! Roadmaps

Each Aha! view on a presentation slide has its own update frequency, which controls how often the view refreshes to reflect the latest data in your Aha! Roadmaps account. Choose the right frequency for each view depending on how you plan to share your presentation.

Set the update frequency

  1. Open your presentation in the slide editor.

  2. Select the Aha! view on your slide. A floating toolbar appears below the view.

  3. Use the update frequency option in the floating toolbar to choose your setting.

You can set each view to update with these frequency levels:

  • Snapshot: A static image of the Aha! view from the time you embedded it into the presentation slide.

  • Refresh on update: The view only updates when you explicitly refresh it. Use this when you want to control exactly what your audience sees, such as before a scheduled presentation where you need time to review changes before sharing.

  • Live update: The view refreshes every time data changes in Aha! Roadmaps. Use this when you want your audience to always see the latest information, such as on a secure webpage or during a live presentation in presenter view.

Each view on a slide can have a different update frequency, so you can mix live and manual views on the same slide when different data sources need different refresh cadences.
