Organizations

Organizations in Aha! Discovery represent the companies your customers work for. Create organizations and link them to the individual contacts that work for them to better understand who your customers are.

If you are using Aha! Discovery with Aha! Ideas Advanced and you already have organizations in your account, they will be available in Aha! Discovery as well.

Overview

Organizations are records in your Aha! account that represent the companies where your customers work.

When you use the Aha! Discovery and Aha! Ideas Advanced plans in parallel, you can share contact and organization records between the two products. What you can capture on an organization record depends on the Aha! product plan(s) you are subscribed to.

Add an organization

To add a new organization to your workspace:

• Navigate to Participants -> Organizations.

• Click Create organization.

• Enter the organization's name and click Create organization.

• After you add the organization, it will be listed on the Organizations page. Click to open it and add a description or link contacts.

Link contacts to an organization

Open an organization and access its Contacts tab. From here, click Add and select the contact you want to link. Then, click Link to organization.

If you are using Aha! Discovery with Aha! Ideas Advanced, you can create organizations automatically based on your ideas portal users' email domains. An ideas portal user with a new email domain will trigger an organization to be created.

Share organizations with Aha! Ideas Advanced

Aha! Discovery and Aha! Ideas share contact and organization records. If you use Aha! Ideas Advanced and you already have organizations in your account, they will be available in Aha! Discovery automatically.

With Aha! Ideas Advanced, you can also add organizations through proxy votes or by importing them through the Aha! Ideas Salesforce integration.
