Export a Gantt view to a whiteboard

Aha! Roadmaps

Gantt views help you visualize interconnected work and timelines, helping you plan a successful launch. But once your plans are set, you need a flexible way for your team to collaborate and align around your plans. Export your Gantt view to a whiteboard as records — so you can collaborate and explore alternative plans.

Overview

When you export a Gantt view to a whiteboard as records, your whiteboard recreates the Gantt view using the following advanced shapes:

  • A timeline shape matching the period displayed on the original Gantt chart.

  • Progress bar shapes for the records included in the Gantt chart. These progress bars will link to the original releases, release phases, epics, features, or other records they represent.

  • Milestone shapes for the milestones included in the Gantt chart.

Whiteboard users can can rearrange all aspects of the Gantt view on the whiteboard so they can explore different scenarios. Rearranging these shapes does not change any data in the records they are linked to — but you can double-click the shapes to open the individual records that are linked to them and edit details from there.
