The slide editor gives you a full set of tools to build compelling presentations without leaving Aha! Roadmaps. Add views from nearly any page in your Aha! account, customize slides with shapes, images, rich text, and live fields, and use Elle to help draft and format your content.
To open the slide editor, navigate to Roadmaps -> Library -> Presentations and select a presentation. If you are viewing the presentation in grid view, double-click a slide to begin editing it.

Switch between slide editor and grid view
Use the view toggle buttons in the top-left corner of the toolbar:
Slide editor: Edit one slide at a time with the full toolbar and right panel.
Grid view: See large thumbnails of every slide in your presentation. Drag and drop slides to any position. Click Add slide to insert new blank slides. Double-click any slide to return to the slide editor.
The slide editor toolbar
The main toolbar runs across the top of the slide editor. From left to right it includes:
View toggles: Switch between Slide editor and Grid view.
Settings (gear icon): presentation-level settings.
Add Aha! view: Insert an Aha! view from nearly any page in your Aha! account.
Add slide: Insert a new blank slide.
Undo / Redo: Step backward or forward through your changes.
Zoom controls: Zoom in, zoom out, or set a specific zoom percentage.
Drawing tools: Pointer, Text, Shapes, Connector, Pen, Rich text, Image, and Elle (AI assistant).
The Present button sits in the top center with a dropdown for Presenter view and Start from beginning (⌘+Shift+Enter).
Add and format content
Click any drawing tool in the toolbar to start adding content to a slide:
Text: Add a text block with full formatting controls including paragraph styles, fonts, colors, and lists.
Shapes: Add rectangles, circles, arrows, and other standard shapes. Use the Format options tab in the right panel to adjust fill, stroke, opacity, and size.
Stickies: Add sticky notes to your slide.
Connector: Draw lines and arrows between elements on your slide.
Pen: Freeform ink for annotations or sketches.
Image: Upload or insert an image onto the slide.
Elle: Ask the AI assistant to draft content, generate images, add shapes, or format your slide. You can also open Elle from the right panel.
To position elements precisely, select an element and open the right panel to Format options -> Position to enter numeric X and Y values.
Work with Aha! views
Click Add Aha! view in the toolbar to insert a view from nearly any page in Aha! Roadmaps: reports, roadmaps, boards, and more. You can add multiple Aha! views to a single slide.
After inserting a view, select it on the slide to reveal the floating toolbar below the view. From the floating toolbar you can:
Adjust the update frequency: Choose whether the view is a static snapshot, updates live every time data changes in Aha! Roadmaps, or updates only when you manually refresh.
Open the source view to edit it directly.
To choose which fields are visible on a record within the presentation, click the record and open the Format options tab in the right panel, then select the Visible fields you want to display.
Use the right panel
The right side of the slide editor has a collapsible panel with five tabs:

Reorder, copy, and paste slides
You can reorder the slides in your presentation from either the editor or grid views. In the slide editor, drag slides up or down in the slide preview pane on the left to reorder them. In grid view, drag and drop thumbnails to any position.
Right-click a slide thumbnail to access:
Slide layout: Choose a layout from your presentation theme (Title, Body, or Custom layouts).
Copy slide: Copy the slide to your clipboard.
Cut/Paste slide: Cut the slide, then paste it elsewhere.
Delete slide: Remove the slide.
You can copy a slide from one presentation and paste it into another using keyboard shortcuts or the right-click menu. This is a fast way to reuse content across decks.
