AI credits

Every chat interaction with Elle, the AI assistant, or use of AI capabilities will deduct credits from your account's shared pool. The number of credits used depends on the size and complexity of your request. Long or detailed instructions, multiple PDFs or images, or large pasted text will require more processing. Each prompt is unique and it is not possible to know ahead of time how credits will be used, but this table will give you a general set of guidelines.

If Elle experiences a technical error when providing a response, credits will not be deducted from your account.

To prompt efficiently: Be specific in your requests, set a target output length, generate an outline before moving into a draft, and refine sections selectively by highlighting text. You should also consider using the AI prompt library to create prompts that are well defined and efficient for repeated tasks.
