Link customer research to personas

Aha! Discovery

Personas are a great way to understand your customers, but they are not useful or actionable if built on assumptions. When personas are associated with insights from your actual customers, they reflect their true motivations, pain points, and needs. Link quotes in customer interviews directly to personas in Aha! Link highlights to personas just as you would any other Aha! record:

  • On an insights report (either for a study or individual interview), scroll to the Links section at the bottom and click the + button to link to a persona. Once linked, your Aha! Discovery record will appear on the persona's Related tab.

  • On an interview transcript, highlight any quotable section and click the Record link button to link to a persona. When you do, the persona will appear in the Links section of the transcript and the persona's Related tab.

  • On an interview's Highlights side panel, link any saved summary, learning, quote, or answer to a persona. Your link will appear in the Links section of the transcript and the persona's Related tab.
