Long pages of text can be hard to skim. Linked cards make navigation simple — pair a short label with an image to point people to key folders, documents, or external resources. The visual cues help readers scan, choose the right path, and find answers faster.a note with a link card. The image shows a thumbnail of a dashboard with several graphs. The card says "Results dashboard" and "Introducing the new results dashboard in the Fredwin Cycling app". The link tool is open with a URL and the link text that says "Read the blog post".

Open the More (+) menu in the text editor toolbar and select Link card. Use the link card toolbar to customize each element. When you edit a part of the card, click Back (<) to return to the toolbar and continue.

  • Edit text: Add a Title and Description to the link card.

  • Upload image: Add an image. Click Upload to select an image or drag and drop an image into the upload panel.

  • Orientation: Choose between horizontal and vertical orientation.

  • Size: Choose between Full width or Keep image ratio. You can also resize a link card's width by dragging the blue bar on the side of the link card.

  • Text alignment: Choose between Left, Center, and Right.

  • Edit link: Add the URL you want the card to link to.

  • Remove link card: Permanently removes the link card.

When a link card is embedded in a document within your Aha! account, Aha! users can click it for the option to open the link or edit the card. If you publish the document to a knowledge base, readers can click the card to open the link.
