Meta data

Aha! Knowledge

Meta data helps search engines understand your page and present it well in results. Better SEO (search engine optimization) leads to clearer titles and descriptions in search — so more people reach the article they need.

Add meta data to every knowledge base page. Use the terms customers search for, and reflect the page content directly. The meta title sets the topic and appears as the clickable headline in search results. The meta description summarizes the page and displays below the headline.

To add meta data:

  • Scroll to the bottom of the document in your workspace.

  • On the document's Overview tab:

    • Enter your description in the Meta description field.

    • Enter your title in the Meta title field.

  • Publish the document to make the meta data available to search engines.

If you use Aha! Knowledge with Aha! Roadmaps and you do not see one of these fields on your knowledge base documents, you may be using a custom layout that was configured before the fields were available in Aha! Knowledge. Add the fields to your custom document layout to use them in your knowledge base.
