Share product discovery insights

Aha! Discovery

Customer research is most useful when the people making product decisions can understand and act on the insights you uncover. You can share product discovery insights with colleagues who do not have an Aha! Discovery seat, colleagues who use Aha! Roadmaps or Aha! Ideas, and external stakeholders.

Choose the best way to share research

The way you share research shapes what people can learn and what they can access. Choose an option that gives each audience the context it needs while protecting participant privacy.

  • Use an insights report when you want to share synthesized findings from a study, interview, or research file. Reports help leaders and cross-functional teams understand the customer evidence behind an upcoming decision without giving them access to Aha! Discovery.

  • Share a clip when one short customer moment adds useful context to a decision. A clip link lets someone view that moment without exposing the full interview.

  • Use a list report when people need a current view of your research activity or a collection of highlights. You can also send the report on a recurring email schedule.

  • Link highlights and quotes to product records when product teams need customer evidence alongside the work they are defining. For example, connect a highlight to a feature or persona so Aha! Roadmaps or Aha! Ideas users can see relevant research in context.

  • Share notes and whiteboards with Aha! Roadmaps users by placing them in the workspace's Discovery folder. This keeps research documents available to the people who need them.

Protect participant privacy

Before sharing research externally, review what the audience can access. You can hide participants' names when exporting insights reports. For shared webpages, configure the available security settings before sending the link.

You can stop access to a shared webpage by disabling sharing. For clips, generate a new link to invalidate the previous one.
