Refine what you have already written without leaving the editor. Elle, the AI assistant in Aha! software, can proofread, shorten, summarize, expand, or rewrite existing text in a different tone. To draft new content instead, start from a prompt.
Highlight the content you want to change, then click the Elle icon in the text editor toolbar. From here, you have two options:
Enter a prompt describing how you want Elle to change the text. Click + to add a saved instruction if you want.
Use a shortcut below the prompt field — Outline, Draft, Refine, Summarize, or Expand — then add a short prompt to guide length or level of detail.
Press Enter. Elle drafts the new content in the panel. When it finishes:
Click Replace to swap your highlighted text for Elle's version.
Click Ignore to discard it and prompt Elle again.
When you replace text, the original is removed from your document. You can still retrieve it from the document history if you need it.
