Use prototypes to turn an idea into an interactive experience the team can review. Show how a proposed experience could work, gather feedback, and refine details before you commit development time. You can start a prototype with Elle (the AI assistant in Aha! software) from anywhere in your account. To compare possible approaches, ask Elle to create variations in a whiteboard and review the options side by side.

Create a prototype
Creating a prototype begins with Elle. Open a chat with Elle and describe the experience you want to explore. You can start with a new idea, reference an existing record, or choose a prompt from the AI prompt library.
After Elle generates the prototype, choose where to save it:
Select Save to this workspace/team to create a standalone prototype in your workspace or team document hierarchy.
Select Link to [record ID] to create the prototype and link it to the record in your chat. The prototype appears in the record's Research tab under Concepts.
To apply your brand while Elle creates the prototype, select + below the message box, then select Design system and choose a design system option before you enter your prompt. Elle uses its tokens and components as it generates the prototype.
You can create your new prototype from various places across your account to link it to specific contexts:
Start from documents: Navigate to Documents -> Prototypes and select Add -> Prototype.

Start from a record: Open a record, such as a feature or initiative, and navigate to its Research tab. In the Concepts section, select Add -> Prototype to create a prototype linked to that record.
Prototypes created from a record are linked to that record automatically. You can link a standalone prototype later from its Related tab or the More options button (...).
Start from a whiteboard: Open a whiteboard and ask Elle to create a prototype from a prompt. You can also open Advanced shapes, select Prototype, and describe the experience you want to create or update.
Explore prototype variations
Create variations when you want to explore different solutions for the same experience before you commit development time. Elle adds the variations to a whiteboard, so you can compare how each approach looks and works, discuss trade-offs with the team, and choose the direction that best supports your goal.
Create variations from a record
Open the record's Research tab. In Concepts, select Add -> Prototype -> Explore prototype variations. Elle creates three distinct prototypes based on the record's context.
Create variations from a whiteboard
Select an existing prototype in a whiteboard and select Elle in the prototype toolbar. Then, select Explore variations. Choose the number of variations and how closely they should resemble the original. You can ask Elle to change the functionality or design, or describe another area to explore.
