This article discusses functionality that is included in the Aha! Builder Team and Aha! Builder Scale plans. Please contact us if you would like a live demo or want to try using it in your account.
Customer feedback is one of the clearest signals of what to build next. Review feedback submitted through your application's feedback widget, promote the top ideas to features, and work with Elle to start building right away.
You need to enable feedback collection for your application before you can promote feedback to features.
Click any of the following links to skip ahead:
Review an idea
Navigate to Implement -> Features -> Feedback to see ideas submitted through your application's feedback widget. If you still see your widget configuration, click Review feedback in the top right corner to move to a list of ideas.
Click an idea title to open it in a detail drawer.
The drawer shows the idea's Status, Created by email, Created date, and Description.
Use the Status dropdown to categorize the idea. Each new idea starts in Needs review status.
Promote an idea to a feature
When you identify an idea worth building, you can promote it to create a feature on your application's features board. There are two ways to do this from the idea drawer.
Promote and build immediately:
Click the Build button. Aha! Builder promotes the idea to a feature, sets the idea status to Planned, and opens Elle to start building the feature right away.
Elle reviews your application code and begins implementing the feature. Open the feature and click View chat to follow along in the Elle chat panel.
To stop Elle, click Stop in the Elle chat panel. The feature drawer will show Build stopped with a Retry button if you want to resume later.
Promote without building:
Click the Promote to feature button. Aha! Builder creates a new feature on your Features -> Board and links it to the idea.
A banner appears in the idea drawer showing the linked feature reference and its current status. Click the feature link to open it.
When you are ready to build, open the promoted feature from the features board and work with Elle to implement it.
After a feature has been built, review the changes in Preview and deploy your application to deliver the improvement to end users.
