When your account includes Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Builder, you can send a prototype you created in Aha! Roadmaps to Aha! Builder. There, you can publish the prototype to gather feedback from internal or external users, or turn it into an application for ongoing use.
A prototype in Aha! Roadmaps is a lightweight, visual representation of a new feature, a quick way to show your product development team what you have in mind and align on direction before work begins. A prototype in Aha! Builder is more robust: it is an interactive, working proof of concept backed by a real database and hosted on Aha! infrastructure, so end users can try it and share feedback.
Take this step when an idea is worth carrying further. When you want to turn a concept you sketched for your team into something real users can click through, you do not have to start over. Bring the initial prototype to Elle as context to convert into a more significant implementation.

Send a prototype to Aha! Builder
Prototypes live as documents in your Aha! Roadmaps workspace, where you create and refine them with Elle, the AI assistant. When a prototype is ready to go further, send it to Aha! Builder directly from the prototype.
Open the prototype in your Aha! Roadmaps workspace.

Click Send to Aha! Builder on the prototype.
You can also start the same action from the prototype's More options menu.
The prototype opens in a new browser tab in Aha! Builder, recreated exactly as it appears in Aha! Roadmaps.
After you send a prototype, the control on the original prototype changes to View in Aha! Builder so you can return to it at any time.
Work with your prototype in Aha! Builder
Your prototype arrives in Aha! Builder looking exactly like the version in Aha! Roadmaps, so the team can pick up from where the idea took shape rather than starting over. In Aha! Builder, the prototype becomes a robust, interactive proof of concept — backed by a database and ready to put in front of real users.
From there, you can:
Deploy the proof of concept to gather feedback from internal or external users.
Convert the proof of concept into an application for ongoing use, then plan and build it out with Elle.
Once you are working in Aha! Builder, you can also assign features from Aha! Roadmaps to the application so the team manages planned work and delivery in one place.
