Ideas portals help customers and teammates share feedback and vote on requests. If you manage feedback for different audiences, each group might need a different view of ideas. Beta testers, for example, could need access to pre-release discussions, while an advisory board might need a narrower set of strategic requests.
Dedicated portals let you organize ideas by audience without creating separate workspaces. You can tailor each portal to its audience and still manage all feedback in one place.
Dedicated portals are included in the Aha! Ideas Advanced plan.

Overview
Dedicated portals help you collect feedback from different groups without creating separate workspaces. You can create a portal for each audience — such as an early access program, customer advisory board, or innovation campaign — and choose which ideas appear in each one.
With dedicated portals, you can:
Create portals for different groups.
Choose whether a portal shows all workspace ideas or is restricted to specific ideas.
Select which restricted portals each idea appears in.
Review incoming feedback from every portal in the same workspace.
Dedicated portals are useful when different groups should see different sets of ideas, but the team still needs one workspace for evaluation and prioritization. Examples include:
An early access portal for beta testers
A private portal for a customer advisory board
Multiple audience-specific portals for one product team
Use dedicated portals when you want to tailor what each audience can view without separating feedback management across multiple workspaces.
Dedicated portals are configured to separate ideas by audience or program. If you need to control who can access a portal, choose the portal type that fits your use case (such as a public or private ideas portal).
Configure a dedicated portal
Choose which ideas a portal will show by default in the portal's Ideas included settings. These settings determine whether the portal displays all workspace ideas or only a selected set. This functionality is only available for accounts on the Aha! Ideas Advanced plan.
Open an ideas portal's settings.
Navigate to Overview -> Type.
-
In the Ideas included settings, choose how ideas will appear in the portal by default:
Include all workspace ideas: The portal shows all ideas from the selected workspace, except ideas that are set to appear only in restricted portals. New ideas created in that portal default to show in all portals for the workspace.
Restrict to specific ideas: The portal shows only the ideas you choose. New ideas created in that portal default to show only in that portal.
If a portal should show only a selected set of ideas, select Restrict to specific ideas. You can then choose exactly which ideas appear in that portal.
Control which ideas appear in each portal
Once at least one portal is set to Restrict to specific ideas, you can choose exactly where individual ideas appear.
Open an idea record and select the Portals tab.
In the Idea visibility section, find the Include in portals field. Then, select the restricted portals where the idea should appear.
This is useful when you want to:
Keep ideas visible only to the audience that submitted them.
Share a specific idea with another audience.
Highlight the same request across multiple focused programs.
You can also update several ideas at once from a list report. This is helpful when you are launching a new portal or reorganizing ideas for a specific group.
The Include in portals field appears only when at least one portal in the workspace is set to Restrict to specific ideas.
Manage ideas across portals
Each portal can show a different set of ideas, but all feedback still flows into the same workspace. This makes it easier for the team to review ideas, compare requests, and prioritize work without switching between workspaces.
From Ideas -> Overview, you can review incoming ideas from every portal in one place. You can also filter by portal to focus on feedback from a specific audience. If you need to update visibility for many ideas, use a list report to bulk edit the Include in portals field.
This approach keeps each portal tailored to its audience while preserving one system of record for product feedback.
