Assign Aha! features to an application

Aha! Builder

When your account includes Aha! Roadmaps and Aha! Builder, you can assign features from a Roadmaps workspace to a Builder application. Once assigned, those features appear on the application's features board so the team building the application can manage them alongside the work created directly in Builder.

Click any of the following links to skip ahead:

Assign a feature to an application

Open a feature in your Aha! Roadmaps workspace and set the Team field to the name of your Builder application. Applications appear under an Applications group in the dropdown, separate from any engineering teams in your account.

The feature stays in its Roadmaps workspace. It is not moved or copied. The same record now appears in both places, with each side tracking its own status.

If the Team field does not appear on your feature layout, your workspace is using a custom feature layout that does not include it. An administrator with customization permissions can add the field through the custom layouts settings. Workspaces using the default feature layout include the Team field automatically.

View assigned features in your application

Open your Aha! Builder application and navigate to Features. Features assigned from Aha! Roadmaps appear on the board alongside features created in the application, organized by their Aha! Builder team status.

Open a feature from the board to view its details. The drawer shows the fields the team building the application needs to refine and deliver the work — the Roadmaps-specific custom fields from the feature's home workspace are hidden in this view to keep the focus on Aha! Builder context. To see those fields, open the feature in its Roadmaps workspace.

Click Build feature to prompt Elle to implement the feature.
