Your team uses the features board to turn plans into prioritized work. Arrange epics, features, or requirements by release or workflow status, group them into rows that match how your team plans, then rank and move work as priorities shift. Save the layouts you rely on so every team and meeting starts from the right view.
This article refers to releases and features. Depending on your workspace type, you may see "schedules" and "activities" in your workspace.

Overview
Navigate to Features -> Board to open the features board. By default, the board shows features in your current workspace, with each release as a column.
From the top of the board:
Choose a record type: Use the Epics, Features, and Requirements toggle in the upper-left corner of the board.
Open your parking lots: Click Parking lot on the right side of the board to open your parking lots, where you keep work you have not yet committed to a release.
Add work: Click Add to create a record. The menu always includes Release. It also includes Epic when you view epics, or Feature when you view features or requirements.
From a release column:
Manage a release: Click the More options button on a release column to add a feature or epic to that release, rerank its records, open release details, draft release notes, or ship the release.
Track capacity: If you use capacity planning, capacity bars appear at the top of each release column.
The features board works like other Aha! Roadmaps reports, so it can show records from any workspace you have access to. To include work from a workspace, select its releases under Columns. To review work across several workspaces, organize columns by release and select releases from each workspace. Use the Workspace name filter to narrow the records within those columns, not to add releases from other workspaces.
If you open a saved view that someone built in another workspace, you see the releases that person selected. If you see records you did not expect, check the releases you selected under Columns.
Customize your features board
Shape the features board around the way you or your team plans work.
Configure rows and columns
Choose how to organize records on the board:
Columns organize records vertically. Choose Release or Workflow status. When you organize by release, use the selector under Columns to choose which releases appear, including releases from other workspaces you have access to.
Rows organize records horizontally and are optional. Choose None, Assigned to user, Epic, Release, Workspace, or Custom field. For a custom field, select the field you want to group by. Then use the selector under Rows to choose which users, epics, or values get a row. Select Default (unassigned) or No value to add a row for records without a value.
Note: You cannot use the same field for rows and columns. For example, when you organize columns by release, Release is unavailable under Rows.
Drag a card to another column or row to update the matching field. For example, drag a feature into a different release column to move it to that release, or into another row to change its assignee.

Choose what information appears on each card. Click the Customize view (gear) icon.
Select Expanded cards or Collapsed cards to change how much each card shows.

Filtering
Use filters to focus the features board on the records you want to review. Click Add filter to add a basic filter, or click Edit filters to add advanced filters. Click Save view after you update filters.
If your board includes many records, use the Search field in the upper-right corner to search the features board for a specific record.
Ranking and reordering
Records on the features board follow their existing rank, but how that rank behaves depends on how you organize the board.
On an ungrouped board, records follow their rank within each release. Drag a card to change its rank, and the new order appears anywhere that rank shows up.
When you group the board into rows, the order you set applies only to that board. Reordering cards within a row does not change their rank elsewhere.
When you organize columns by release, earlier releases appear first.
Requirements follow the order you set on their parent feature.
To rerank an entire release at once, click the More options button on the release column and select Rerank features by (or Rerank epics by when you view epics). When you reorder records, you do not need to save your changes.
Save board views
Save a board layout so you and your team can return to it without rebuilding it. Create separate views for different teams, meetings, or planning cycles.
Click Save view to save your current board layout and filters.
-
Click Views to manage your saved views:
Select Save as to save a copy of the current view under a new name.
Select Edit view details to rename or describe the view.
Select Saved views to open a view you or your team saved, or Example views to start from a prebuilt layout.
Select Delete view to remove a view you no longer need.
Click Create new board to clear the current board and start from a fresh layout.
Set a default features board
Give everyone in your workspace the same starting layout. First, save the features board view you want to use. Then navigate to User menu -> Settings -> Workspace -> Default views, select the Features tab, and click Edit next to Features board.
You need owner user permissions to set default views. A user sees the default view if they do not already have a working copy of the board, or if they click Views -> Reset to default view.
Share your features board
Save your view before you share it, since sharing options only appear for saved views.
Click Share to share the board on the web, by email, or on a recurring schedule. Share it as a webpage to let people outside your Aha! Roadmaps account view the board, or schedule email delivery to send it regularly.
Click the export icon in the upper-right corner to add the board to a whiteboard, a presentation, or a dashboard. You can also save it as a PNG image, a PDF document, or a print view.
If you share a features board as a secure webpage, use the Drill in filters to choose what information an external audience can access.
