Use a developer guest pass when you need technical help troubleshooting an Aha! Builder application. It gives a guest developer temporary access to one application so they can review the issue directly.
The developer guest pass is available on the Aha! Builder Scale plan. You control who gets access, which application they can open, and how long that access lasts.

Overview
Account admins can manage guest access at the account level. Application owners can use guest access when they need technical help with a specific Aha! Builder application.
Use a developer guest pass when:
You need help investigating an issue in a live Aha! Builder application.
You want a technical expert to review the application directly.
You want to provide time-limited access instead of adding someone as a long-term user.
The guest developer gets temporary access to the selected application. This gives them the access they need to troubleshoot the application without access to the rest of your account.
Guest developers do not have access to:
Other applications in your account
Workspaces in any Aha! product
Account-level settings
Account billing and paid seats
Application creation
When the guest developer signs in, they only see the application you selected. They have access to it for two hours. When that time ends, access is removed automatically. You can also revoke access sooner if needed. A banner shows how much time remains in the access window.
Before you begin
Review these details before you invite a guest developer:
You can invite one active guest developer per account at a time.
Each invitation applies to one application.
The invitation stays valid for 24 hours.
Once the guest developer accepts the invitation, access lasts for two hours.
You cannot invite existing users in your account as guest developers.
Guest access is intended for Aha! Builder applications only.
Invite a guest developer
To grant temporary access, send an invitation from the application settings. The invitation lets you choose who can access the application and limits that access to the troubleshooting window.
Open Account settings and go to Applications.
Select Invite guest developer.
Enter the guest developer's name and email address.
Choose the application they should access.
Add a custom message if needed.
Send the invitation.
In your message, explain the issue and point to the part of the application the developer should review so they can use the two-hour access window well.
Aha! Builder sends the guest developer an email invitation. The guest developer uses the email to accept the invitation and sign in. The invitation expires if the guest developer does not accept it within 24 hours.
After the guest developer accepts the invitation, access lasts for two hours unless you revoke it sooner.
If your account uses single sign-on (SSO), guest developers still sign in with a username and password for temporary access.
View and manage guest passes
You can review guest passes in Account settings to see who was invited and what access they had.
The guest pass record can include details such as:
Name
Email
Invited by
Date added
Application
Access window
Status, such as Pending, Active, Expired, or Revoked
Guest developers also appear in user management with a clear indicator that they are temporary guest users.
Guest pass limitations
Only one guest developer can be active in your account at a time.
Each guest pass is limited to one application.
Guest access ends automatically when the access window ends.
You cannot convert an existing account user into a guest developer.
