Ideas give you insight into what your customers want and need. Feedback trends show how well you are delivering meaningful value. The ideas overview dashboard brings this information together in configurable panels, so you can focus on the views and metrics that matter most to your team. Add, remove, and rearrange panels to highlight the information you rely on, then adjust global and panel-level filters. This way you can track volume, status, and engagement in a way that matches how you actually manage ideas.
You can manage the ideas overview like any dashboard. Add new panels, customize their filters and fields, and then save and share your view with the team. You can also add the ideas overview panels to any other dashboard in your account.

Overview
The ideas overview is made up of dashboard panels, each focused on a different aspect of your ideas data, such as status, activity, or themes. You can customize them to match how your team evaluates and acts on feedback.
You can:
Add panels: Select Add panel to add new ideas overview panels, such as Status, Activity, Themes, Volume, and Top contributors. You can also add panels that use your own saved list reports or charts for ideas. New panels are added at the bottom of your dashboard.
Remove panels: Select the More options (...) menu in the upper right of a panel and click Remove panel to remove panels that are not relevant to your workflow.
Rearrange panels: Drag panels to rearrange them so the most important information appears at the top of the dashboard.
Customize panel filters: Select the More options (...) menu in the upper right of a panel to adjust which records, fields, and visualizations it uses. For example, you might create an activity panel filtered to ideas from a specific workspace or category.
After you customize the ideas overview, save the view so you can return to it later and share it with your team. You can also add the ideas overview panels to any dashboard in your account, so you can bring these insights into broader product and portfolio views.
Filters
By default, the Ideas overview dashboard shows a comprehensive view: every idea in every category for your workspace. Use filters to focus on the ideas that matter most. Filters that you add and apply here will apply to every panel that uses that filter field and only affect only your view. Other members of your team can apply their own filters to customize the dashboard for their needs.
The default filters are Workspace name, Idea categories, and Idea status. Hover over the filter bar and click the + button to add filters for any standard or custom field on workspaces or ideas. For example, you can:
See all ideas assigned to you
Focus on ideas within a particular category
Review ideas from multiple workspaces
Filter values apply to every panel that uses that filter, unless you uncheck the panel option to Use dashboard filters.
Default panels
Default panels on the ideas overview give you an immediate view of your ideas data, such as status, activity, and contributors. Use the standard set as is, remove panels that are not relevant to your team, or customize most panels with your own filters so the dashboard reflects how your team manages feedback. This helps you focus on the metrics and views that matter most to your work.
You can add any of the default panels to any dashboard in your Aha! account. You will find them listed under Ideas overview when configuring a dashboard.
