When configuring your integration between Aha! and Jira, you may receive a few different errors that commonly point towards the need to add Aha! IP addresses to an allow list.
Here are some of the error messages you might see:
- Configuration error for 'installed': getaddrinfo: Name or service not known
- Execution expired
- Event ‘installed’ failed due to an unhandled error
- Error: request to <url to server> took too long to respond
These errors could indicate a temporary network outage, but if they persist, they often indicate that your version of Jira is behind a firewall, and Aha! does not have permission to access it.
In order to grant Aha! access, you will need to add Aha! IP addresses to your allow list.
If that works, great! Enjoy your Jira integration. If you still have trouble, please reach out to our Customer Success team at email@example.com.
