Share your visual roadmap with others

Communication and transparency are essential to building great products. They're also a must for keeping entire organizations aligned with your strategy. Aha! Notebooks are used to present your visual roadmaps and help you keep all stakeholders informed.

Simply create views for each page within Aha! and click Export to add to a notebook and share your visual roadmap. You can add as many views as you need to each notebook.

Likewise, any view that can be added to a notebook can also be saved as an image or a PDF. This allows you to export images from Aha! into a document or presentation that you are creating outside of Aha!, or save a single view as a PDF. To save a view as an image, select the Save as image button from the Export menu to export the view as a saved image (PNG) file. To save a view as a PDF, select the Save as PDF button from the Export menu to export the view as a PDF file.

Share your Notebook

Share your visual roadmaps from the Notebook tab. The notebooks can be shared as PDFs or Web pages. Both options allow you to share your visual notebook with anyone, whether or not they use Aha!

  • PDF: The Generate PDF option allows you to export your Notebook to a PDF document.
  • Web page: The Update web page option allows you to share your Notebook through a randomly generated, secure URL. The screens will be presented in a click-through presentation.

To edit your notebook, click Notebooks, then click on the notebook name.

You can give your notebook an internal name, such as "Cycling Roadmap - Q42015." You can also customize the title page depending on your audience and drag slides into the correct order. Each notebook can have multiple collaborators, and you can always view previously saved versions. If you want to modify any of the default settings, just click on the gear icon.

Every notebook can be deleted, but we recommend you simply revoke access if you no longer want to share a notebook as a Web page. The "x" next to the "Open web page" will allow you to revoke access.
