Create a calendar report

The calendar report is the perfect way to present the delivery of work across Aha! in a familiar, calendar-style format. This report allows you to visualize releases, features, and to-dos and organize them by the date value of your choice.

Teams using Aha! to plan work with specific deliverable dates across the week will find this report invaluable. This report was originally created based on the needs of our own marketing team as they use Aha! to manage all of their content delivery!

How it works

The calendar report is located under Reports > Calendar. Click the Customize view icon on the top left to select what data you wish to visualize and which dates you wish to use for that data. You can choose from any of the default Aha! date values as well as any custom field date you may have in use. Customize view also allows you to enable the display of weekends on the calendar.

If you display features, the data displayed is determined by how you have customized the collapsed view for the product the feature belongs to. This is done through Settings > Product > Configure. Note: Changes made to the card layout directly on the features board only impact the board view and will not display on the calendar report.

In addition to visualizing your planned efforts, you can also use this report to create new plans and rearrange existing work. By hovering over any of the days on the calendar, a + icon will appear in the upper right of the day's cell. This allows you to quickly add new data to the calendar.

Drag and drop to quickly move records between days and adjust the underlying dates. In addition to manipulating the dates, you can drag and drop records within a day to create a priority visualization. The way you have ordered your records within a day is unique to your report view. So remember to save your report through the Views dropdown if you wish to save the order.

Lastly, the Add filter icon on the upper left allows you to apply various filters to this view. This is great if you want to restrict the data so that it only displays work for a specific user in your account or information related to a specific release.

And as always, the More options button on the top right allows you to easily export and share the report with others through an Aha! Notebook.
