The calendar report is the perfect way to present the delivery of work across Aha! in a familiar calendar style format. This report allows the visualization of Releases, Features and To-Dos organized by the date value of your choice.
Teams using Aha! to plan work with specific deliverable dates across the week will find this report invaluable. The report was actually originally created based on the needs of our own marketing team's use of Aha! managing all of their content delivery!
How it works
The calendar report is located under Reports > Calendar. Creating the report is simple, the green gear icon in the upper right opens up the Customize view screen that allows you to select what data you wish to visualize and which dates you wish to use for that data. You can chose from any of the default Aha! date values as well as any custom field date you may have in use. The Customize view screen also allows you to optionally enable the display of weekends on the calendar.
If you display features, the data displayed is determined by how you have customized the thin card for the product the feature belongs to.
The functionality does not end there! In addition to visualizing your planned efforts, you can also use this screen to create new plans and rearrange existing work.
By mousing over any of the days on the calendar, a '+' icon will appear in the upper right of the cell. That allows you to quickly add new data to the calendar.
Using drag and drop, you can rearrange your calendar on the fly and adjust the underlying dates in the process.
Lastly, the green filter icon on the upper left allows you to apply various filters to this view. This is great if you want to restrict the data so that it only displays work for a specific user in your account or information related to a specific release.
And as always, the export option on the top right allows you to easily share the report with others through notebooks.
