Collect feedback directly from the people who use your Aha! Builder applications and turn their ideas into meaningful improvements faster. Enable feedback collection to add a widget to your deployed application so your end-users can share ideas while they interact with what you built. You can review their submissions, decide what to improve, and build updates with Elle — creating a seamless path from customer feedback to implemented changes.
This article discusses functionality that is included in the Aha! Builder Team and Aha! Builder Scale plans. Please contact us if you would like a live demo or want to try using it in your account.

Enable feedback collection
From your application, navigate to Operate -> Configuration -> Feedback to set up feedback collection.
If this is your first time settings up feedback collection, click Get started to enable it.
Aha! Builder creates a feedback widget and installs the widget code in your application automatically. Your application's users can start leaving feedback immediately.
When an end user clicks the feedback button in your deployed application, a form opens where they can:
Enter a Title for their idea (required).
Add details using a rich text editor.
Attach files.
Highlight a specific area of the page with the built-in screenshot tool.
Note: The feedback widget displays on desktop and mobile browsers, but it is not optimized for a mobile experience. We recommend installing the widget primarily for desktop use.
Customize the feedback widget
Configure how the feedback widget appears to end users. The Configuration -> Feedback page organizes widget settings into two groups.
Preferences:
Title: The heading displayed at the top of the feedback form.
Subtitle: An optional description below the title.
Widget color: The accent color for the widget. Select a color from the palette or enter a custom hex value.
Theme: Choose Light or Dark to match your application design.
Position: The location of the feedback button on the page.
Button:
Icon: The icon displayed on the feedback button. Choose between several options.
Label: The text displayed next to the icon.
Manage feedback
Once you have received your first piece of feedback, you can review it on the Feedback page.
Navigate to Implement -> Features -> Feedback to view submitted ideas. If you still see your widget configuration, click Review feedback in the top right corner to move to a list of ideas.
The feedback table shows each idea with its Title, Status, Created date, and Created by email address. By default, the table filters out ideas in closed statuses (Shipped, Already exists, and Will not implement).
Click an idea title to open it in a drawer and review its details — including the full description the end user submitted.
-
Use the Status dropdown to categorize each idea:
Needs review: The default status for newly submitted ideas.
Planned: You have accepted the idea and intend to build it. For example, you have promoted the idea to a feature.
Future consideration: The idea has merit but is not a priority right now.
Will not implement: You will not pursue the idea.
Already exists: The requested functionality is already available.
Shipped: The idea has been implemented and deployed.
When you are ready to act on an idea, you can promote it to a feature and build it with Elle.
